Most homeowners do a major project a few times in their life. Contractors and production teams live in this world every day.
That imbalance creates confusion, anxiety, and bad decisions.
Home Project Insider exists to close that gap.
Why this site exists
We built this platform to give homeowners real information, real context, and real expectations about how projects actually work,
from the first request to final payment and warranty documentation.
No spin. No shortcuts. No sales scripts disguised as education.
This is not theory. It’s lived experience. We explain the system so you know what’s normal, what’s not, and what happens next.
Where this comes from
This site was built by people with decades of combined experience across multiple parts of the home improvement industry.
We’ve worked inside contracting businesses and alongside production teams, installers, call centers, sales organizations,
and back-office operations.
We’ve seen projects succeed and fail. We’ve watched homeowners make decisions they later regretted, not because they were careless,
but because they were never given the full picture. We got tired of seeing glossy promises that didn’t match reality—so we built
the resource we wish homeowners had from day one.
